In 2002, Half-Ass Publishing in conjunction with Half-Ass GlobalComm announced a new comic-book featuring the legendary adventures of Some Big Lumberjack. The series, which came out with its first issue in April 2002, includes all new stories based on the classic Christopher T. Peel, Tom Martin and Pete Dame character. The first issue concerns Some Big Lumberjack, SBL if you're into the whole brevity thing, as he goes to have his truck inspected. Things go wrong and he winds up in a Junkyard in a battle of wits. Basically our hero is screwed! Special guest appearance by O.J.'s glove and introducing Lumberjack Big Some, an evil replicant eager to replace the original. Also included is The E-Men in their very own back story. Genetically engineered from Elvis' own DNA taken from one of the king's tube socks they fight crime and search the world for Elvis' bane, the ever elusive fools gold loaf sandwich. Reign of the Warpig: Parts 1&2

In 2004, Half-Ass Publishing released it's second devastating story arch. Cleverly titled Reign of the Warpig the release of the issue coincided with the war in Iraq erroneously labeling the Half-Ass staff as commie-pinko liberals. Their follow up back story, due to release September 2006, promises to put down any allegations of left-wing proclivities The story introduces the villain, Warpig. Having obtained the ability to control the weather via a "weather dominating device" he targets the countries major metropolis' in an effort to make the country his own trough. SBL teams up with such heroes like Obi-Juan Shinobi, the worlds first Mexican ninja, Manana Furioso, Luscious Brown, Yo-Yo Man and other including the, now popular, E-Men. Will SBL and the gang be able to stop Warpig or will he slip through their arms yet again? Special guest Lazy Eye Guy appears courtesy of Jeff Oleson Productions. In Search Of... Stand Alone Fall Spectacular

Scheduled to debut at the Baltimore Comic Con September 9-10, this is Half-Ass Publishing's biggest under taking ever, a 42 page one shot fall spectacular! All we are permitted to reveal is the name of the villain, Megalith. Things are so secrete that Tom and Chris gassed up the Half-Ass Jet and penned the issue on an abandoned island in the middle of Lake Lewisville. They were gone for an entire twenty minutes.
